190th Acoustical Society of America Meeting in Philadelphia

[05/2026] Our group again had a strong presence in the ASA meeting at Philadelphia. Osama presented on using 3D printing to fabricate efficient underwater transducers for acoustic power transmission (details), Emad presented a new approach for simulating complex metamaterial structures as regular materials (details), and Yehia chaired a session on 3D printed acoustic transducers.

Emaddodin Joins Our Group

[08/2025] Emaddodin Abdoli joins our group as PhD student in the MME department. Emad is interested in acoustic metamaterials and piezoelectric energy harvesting and wishes to combine both fields to solve practical problems in medicine non-invasive disease diagnosis and targeted therapy
